Ron Adams
These guidebooks are primarily written by Ron Adams and he has been around cars all his life! Before graduating high school in Colorado, Ron Adams had traveled to 6 of the 7 continents including trips to China, Peru, Zimbabwe and the Australian outback. After college, he moved to Munich, Germany to live for several years. Ron moved to Scottsdale, Arizona in 1991. Once here he formed a mail order business selling car accessories and die cast model cars for 14 years.
He has raced on Mugello, Hungaroring and Salzburgring in Europe and raced on Road America, Lime Rock, Road Altanta, VIR, PPIR, Willow Springs, Texas Motor Speedway, Infineon Raceway, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, PIR, Firebird and both Montreal and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway during the Formula 1 weekends here in the U.S.
He raced a Formula Dodge with the Skip Barber Western Regional Championship finishing the season in 16th place out of more that 100 competitors. He won the 1998-99 AZ Regional SCCA Championship in Formula Mazda and placed 1st in the 2000 Ferrari Challenge Endurance Series and 4th in the 2000 Ferrari Challenge Sprint Series.
As well as teaching high performance driving in Arizona, he has judged concours and participated in track days, car auctions, car shows and car rallies both in Arizona and around the world.
Oliver Littmann
Oliver is the contributor for the “Via Corsa Car Lover’s Guide to Southern Germany”. Oliver was born & raised in Munich. In the 1990s, he attended the Pasadena Art Center College of Design in La Tour de Peilz, Switzerland. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial & Transportation Design. Since then he runs different businesses in design with clients like Audi, BMW, Nissan, TÜV Süddeutschland to name a few. He also gives lectures at the University of Applied Science. His decades of first hand experience as an insider to the world of automotive design and his passion and knowledge of classic European sportscars make him a valuable addition. Oliver currently lives in Munich.
