It's a World Record!
Gooding & Company sells a Ferrari Testarossa for $16.39 million!
Gooding & Company set a world record a few hours ago at their Pebble Beach auction. They sold a Ferrari Testarossa - serial #0666 for a cool $14.9 million dollars BEFORE commission. So go ahead and add in another 10% and the price is $16,390,000.-. Not bad for a nights work! We will post more news as we get it!

Concorso Italiano - Monterey 2011
This one day show rocked Monterey today
The official opening time was 9:00 am, but by 8:30 the traffic was backed up all along Highway 68. Why? Everyone heading to the Concorso Italiano! ...and we were in that line of cars! Here is our (Ferrari) photo gallery of the event. More to come soon...as it is late and we need to get up early for Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca tomorrow!

Auction Preview for the 2011 Auction in Monterey
Today we visited RM Auctions at the Portolo Hotel in Monterey, CA. As usual the cars are amazing! This year there is a stellar collection of both Ferraris and Mercedes-Benz on display. The Mercedes-Benz are located in the RM Auction display area while the Ferraris are in the hotel lobby for all to see!! If you have any time at all on Friday or Saturday night, this is a must see!

Auction Preview for the 2011 Auction at Pebble Beach
Our next stop on this whirlwind week of automotive fun was Gooding & Company. Currently Gooding is previewing cars (auction starts in a few days) and it is the best time to photograph them! Our favorite is (by far) the Fiat transporter. I would love this - can you image what the neighbors would think? Check out our gallery from today!

Tour the Forney Museum of Transportation
A fresh look at a Denver landmark!
When I was a kid growing up in Denver, we had the annual family or school trip to the old Forney Museum. Normally I loved these sorts of trips, but back then the museum was dark and dirty and a lot of the exhibits lived outside in the cold with the pigeons. But things have changed! Now the Forney Museum (in a new building and location) can claim to be one of the premier transportation museums in the United States!
