Campaign is Underway at Sonoma Raceway

A part of Speedway Motorsports, Inc. (SMI), Sonoma Raceway is undoubtedly one of the more challenging tracks in existence.

First named “Sears Point” and then “Infineon Raceway” before upholding the mantle of Sonoma Raceway in 2012, this track would be characterized as one made for the driver. Sonoma Raceway offers 2.52 miles of pure edginess.

For the spectator, the grandstands at Sonoma Raceway provide a unique vantage point perched atop the hilly topography of northern California to watch a thrilling motorsport event.

Upcoming Events

This week at Sonoma Raceway will feature Lemons testing accompanied by the 24 Hours of Lemons.

The schedule and campaign will really get underway next weekend with the CSRG David Love Memorial Vintage Road Races. The Classic Sports Racing Group (CSRG) has been running events since 1973 at Sonoma Raceway and are the perfect beginning to a thrilling 2017 racing season.

The next big events will be in June at Sonoma Raceway with the Sonoma Historic Motorsports Festival from June 2 through June 4th, and then the Toyota/Save Mart 350 NASCAR Cup Series.
