Donington Collection Museum Closes after 45 Years

A shining beacon of the world’s largest Grand Prix racing car collection, the Donington Collection Museum has closed its doors after 45 years. November 5th 2018 was the final day the collection was open to the public after which the remaining displays have been either returned to the owners who leased to the museum or are in the process of being sold. The choice was not an easy one to make as it was made known by the owner who stated it was due to family obligations. Several cars had made their home there and now will be displaced to unknown new houses of display one of which included the very first Formula 1 car ever built by Jack Brabham.
